As noted in the report of the Ministry of Energy, due to the disparity of Kazakhstani prices with neighboring countries, there is a risk of overflows and "gray" exports of fuels and lubricants.
In order to prevent shortages in the domestic market, the Financial Monitoring Agency, the Border Service of the National Security Committee, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance, together with other interested government agencies, were instructed to strengthen control over the export of fuel and lubricants at border crossings.
The First Deputy Prime Minister also instructed the Ministry of Energy, together with interested government agencies, to take measures to establish differentiated prices at border gas stations for foreign trucks.
