In Kazakhstan, the production of petrochemical products doubled in 2024.
What happened:
According to the results of the four months of 2024, the volume of production of petrochemical products increased by 2 times compared to last year and amounted to 213.1 thousand tons, the Ministry of Energy reports.
By the end of the year, the ministry promises to increase by 75% to 628.3 thousand tons.
Oil:
In the four months of 2024, the volume of oil refining amounted to 5.9 million tons (an increase of 5.4%).
The production of petroleum products amounted to 4.28 million tons (-6%).
Diesel fuel reserves:
The total reserves of diesel fuel at refineries, oil depots and tracks amount to 612 thousand tons (38 days), Ai-92 gasoline – 352 thousand tons (30 days), Ai-95 gasoline - 86 thousand tons (30 days).
Uranium:
According to the results of the first quarter of 2024, the production of uranium products amounted to 79 tons (Q1 2023 – 45.1 tons), including 76 tons in the form of tablets (Q1 2023 – 31.2 tons), 3 tons in the form of uranium dioxide powders (Q1 2023 – 13.9 tons).
