The new plant will produce 51 thousand tons of pipe products, 540 thousand units of pumping rods and 100 units of oil heaters per year. It is planned that the plant will be put into operation next year.
According to this program, KazMunayGas selects suppliers (potential investors) who guarantee the creation of production of equipment and goods in Zhanaozen, which are necessary for KMG and its "daughters". To do this, the company approved the relevant list of goods and made changes to the procurement procedure. The first investor to build such an enterprise was Kaskor-Mashzavod LLP. The initiator of the program is JSC Ozenmunaigas.
On April 24, a groundbreaking ceremony for the future plant was held in Zhanaozen with the participation of Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas Magzum Mirzagaliyev and Akim of Mangystau region Nurlan Nogaev.
The planned amount of investments in the construction of a new plant exceeds 17 billion tenge. It is planned to create more than 250 new jobs for residents of Zhanaozen. They will be employed in stages, over three years, as they complete their studies. Thus, the opening of production will contribute to import substitution, the prosperity of the region's economy, and an increase in tax revenues to local and republican budgets.

In September last year, the Akimat of the region and the KazPetroDrilling company signed a memorandum of understanding on the implementation of a project to build a plant in the city of Zhanaozen. This project will not only create new jobs, but also increase revenues to the local budget, contributing to the diversification of the economy of our region. It is necessary to continue measures to develop the manufacturing industry and domestic production with an emphasis on improving production efficiency," Nogaev said.
