In Kazakhstan, several large projects worth $1,14.3 billion will be implemented in the petrochemical industry over five years.
The further development of the petrochemical industry is the basis for the country's economic growth.
The Ministry is conducting comprehensive work in this direction. Of these, it is planned to implement 5 major projects worth about 1 14.3 billion by 2029. The implementation of these projects will increase the annual growth of the economy by 1.5%, as well as create about 20 thousand jobs. Of these, 17 thousand will be created during the construction period and 3 thousand jobs will be created after commissioning. Construction of a project for the production of butadiene with a capacity of up to 340 thousand tons and its derivatives will begin this year. It will also be decided to invest in one of the largest projects in the country's history for the production of polyethylene with a capacity of 1.2 million tons.
