In April, representatives of the Denholm Zholdas Group of companies from Kazakhstan visited the Denholm Energy Services Group Forum, held on the shores of Loch Lomond Lake in Glasgow.

Taking advantage of this opportunity, the Manager of the Mechanical Division, Darkhan Saduakasov– made a presentation to the Top Management and representatives of the Board of Denholm Energy Services on the topic of upcoming projects in Kazakhstan. Darkhan also raised the issue of the importance of continuously increasing local content, developing local staff and supporting domestic companies. A healthy outlook for future projects opens up more opportunities for investments in equipment and the purchase of goods.

All these points were positively received by the management of Denholm Energy. Indira, Julia and Raigul also had the opportunity to get to know their foreign colleagues better and gain more knowledge about the activities of the Denholm Group of companies around the world.

Denholm Zholdas is a leading service company in the oil and gas sector, specializing in maintenance and Major Repairs of oil and gas processing and treatment plants; procurement, instrumentation, as well as rental of factory equipment. The company has been operating in Kazakhstan since 1999 and recently the Kazakh side has increased its ownership share to 51%.

Denholm Zholdas owns offices and bases at the Tengiz, Karabatan, Atyrau and Aksai sites, which are used to support operational activities at the main production facilities in Kazakhstan. 97% of the company's staff are domestic employees and the company continues to make efforts to grow and develop local employees through various trainings and mentoring programs. Based on the current need to develop local content in the production of goods, Denholm Zholdas intends to invest in local production.

This issue was positively discussed at the company's head office in Scotland. Denholm Joldas continues to support local communities and provide resources through flood prevention initiatives.
