Abzal Dosanov has been appointed General Director of the Atyrau Oil Refinery.
"By decision of the general meeting of participants, Abzal Doszhanov was appointed to the position of General Director of ANPZ LLP," the company's website says.
Abzal Doszhanov started his career in 2006 at the Atyrau Oil Refinery as an operator of technological installations and rose to the head of the shift of hydrogenation processes.
After advanced training at the French Institute of Petroleum (IFP School), he continued to work at ANPZ as the chief technology specialist of the enterprise modernization project support group.
Since 2010, he has worked at KMG International: Process Improvement Manager at the Petromidium plant, Deputy Director of Production, First Deputy General Director of Rompetrol Petrochemicals, Chief Operating Officer of Rompetrol Rafinare, Head of Rominserv and Rompetrol Well Services, First Deputy General Director – Chief Engineer at the Rompetrol Rafinare refinery.
From 2023 to the present, he has held the position of Head of the Oil Refining Department of the Department of Oil Refining and Petrochemistry of JSC NC KazMunaiGas.
