This is the first stream under the four-year program, during which 140 engineering graduates from specialized universities in Kazakhstan will undergo training in Spain. The selection of participants was carried out by TR.
Almost half of the participants in the first stream are graduates of Atyrau universities: Atyrau University of Oil and Gas and APEC PetroTechnic College. Other participants include students from the Kazakh-British Technical University, Nazarbayev University, Satbayev University and Yessenov University. All participants are graduates of engineering specialties, including chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, mechanical and aerospace engineering, automation and process control, etc.
The first stage is a three-month online course, after which participants will have an internship at TR's head office in Madrid. The training lasts 6 months in total. As part of the internship, participants will work in specialized engineering departments.
The program is fully funded by TR and upon completion of the training, graduates will be able to join TR's global projects around the world, including the construction of a pyrolysis unit for a future polyethylene plant in the Atyrau region.
The program is in line with the priorities of the Year of Blue-Collar Professions, announced by the President in 2025. The initiative contributes to the development of engineering competencies and the training of a new generation of specialists.
